The aim of the open framework is to offer a unified approach to improving employment outcomes for people with learning disabilities living in the West of England Combined Authority area. Underpinned by the principles of specialist employment support and supported internships and designed to respond to the specific needs of people with learning disabilities from age 16+. ‘WE Work for Everyone’ will improve employment outcomes through a dedicated individualised approach which will comprise intensive specialist support and an education and enterprise infrastructure which will provide the depth and intensity of support many people with a learning disability need to help them work towards, find and retain paid employment.

The project will be targeted at:• people with learning disabilities not currently in receipt of care and support but not engaging in other DWP provision;• long term unemployed people with learning disabilities in receipt of social care including people with complex needs;• unemployed people with learning disabilities aged 50+;• young people with special educational needs as they leave school and college;• young people who have learning disabilities, who are still disengaged from education who are aged 16+ and who are at risk of disengaging from a pathway to employment.
