Description
Essex County Council invite suppliers to apply to join the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Passenger Transport Services for Essex County Council and Thurrock Council. This Dynamic Purchasing System has been split into the Categories listed below :
Category 1 - SEND Education Transport: Transport of Passengers with SEND requirements to education, care provision or other locations as required.
Category 2 - Mainstream Education Transport: Transport to Mainstream primary, secondary, or further education locations.
Category 3 - Adult Social Care Transport: Transport of adults with eligible needs to day care/day centre/education provision or other locations as required.
Category 4 - Local Bus and Demand Responsive Transport: Provision of Local Bus and DRT services within Essex.
Category 5 - Ad-Hoc Requirements: Provision of impromptu or unprecedented transport for Adult Social Care, SEND, Mainstream or Children's Social Care Passengers.
Lot LOT001. Public and Non-Scheduled Passenger Transport Services
Description
This lot covers the provision of public road transport services, taxi services, and non-scheduled passenger transport services. This may include, but is not limited to, scheduled bus services, community transport, demand-responsive transport, and private hire services.
Lot LOT002. Public and Non-Scheduled Road Transport Services
Description
This lot covers the provision of public road transport services and non-scheduled passenger transport. This may include services such as local bus services, coach hire, and community transport services.
Lot LOT003. Comprehensive Passenger Transport and Vehicle Hire Services
Description
This lot covers a comprehensive range of passenger transport services, including public road transport, taxi services, special-purpose transport, non-scheduled transport, and the hire of passenger transport vehicles with a driver. This may include a combination of scheduled, on-demand, and specialized transport solutions to meet a variety of needs.
