two.2.4) Description of the procurement

NHS England (NHSE) recognises that there are a range of providers of lived experience services, from large organisations through to micro-enterprises. Committed to readying and enabling all provider types to provide these services to NHSE, this PIN serves to:

1) Advise the market of the planned forthcoming opportunity to apply for a place on this framework;

2) Advise the market of a planned market engagement event, designed to explore, understand, and address the pressures and challenges that lived experience providers face.

It is anticipated that this framework will open to new providers in January 2021. Being on this framework means that providers will be eligible to provide services through call-offs, or mini competition. These terms, and the anticipated process, will be explained in a planned virtual event, run via Microsoft Teams (or a similar proprietary application), on Thursday 17 December 2020.

The details to register for this event are further on in this advert. Teams is an application which is preferably run from a computer/laptop or performance-tablet, and not a smartphone. The audio will be presented via the web and not via a dial-in. We are able to test connectivity with you if you have not used Teams before or would just like peace of mind prior to the event. There is no application (‘app’) to download prior to the event, but only when you join the event, or a test that you request, you must allow the app to ‘Run’ by clicking so when prompted. Further instructions will be sent with your event invite.

To register for the event, please send the following details to andrea.baker3@nhs.net

• name of delegate(s);

• email address(es) of delegate(s);

• telephone number(s) of delegate(s);

• organisation name;

• organisation type (NHS, Ltd Company, Charity etc.);

• organisation address;

• If you wish your details to be shared with other delegates and posted on the Procurement Portal (if you do not include this, it shall be assumed you do not wish for your details to be shared)

Please send your details to andrea.baker3@nhs.net no later than 5 p.m. Friday 11 December 2020. You will then be added to a calendar invite with a link to click when the event is about to start.

You are not required to respond to this market engagement activity in order to be eligible to apply to be a framework member when we publish the tender, however we hope that you find attending the market engagement event helpful in preparing your organisation to take part and be eligible for future business (providing services).
